C6 Technology by Skankeywear is Better Than Ever

Skankeywear?-Beaverton, Oregon. C6 Technology? is an innovative technology that can be applied to any fabric before or after production. Being able to apply this treatment to a finished product opens new doors and capabilities for the fabric product that is treated. Now embroideries, screen printed products, seams and thread will be included in the treatment, making them stain and water resistant as well. This process can be applied to most fabrics making many more possibilities for the product. From jeans, to knitted shirts, to woven shirts: almost anything can be treated.

C6 Technology? uses a C6 carbon chain rather than a C8 carbon chain like most of its competitors. C8 carbon chains are full of Perfluorooctanoic acids(PFOA), a man-made chemical which does not occur naturally in the environment. Recently scientists have found great apprehension as levels of PFOA have been commonly found in many humans across the world and concerns abound about how exposure to PFOA could affect people's health. Unlike C8, a C6 Carbon chain does not contain PFOA, which makes our C6 Technology environmentally safe.

This new process is a step ahead of the rest in protecting the products that are sold. C6 Technology? makes the product stain, water, odor, wrinkle and fade resistant, but a new attribute that has yet women's jackets to be mentioned is the breathability that the products retain. With this new treatment process, the product can have long life treatment of over 55 washes and keep a desired hand (or feel) of the fabric as though it had never been treated with any process.

C6 Technology? does not make the products water or stain proof, only water and stain resistant. This means that if any dirt or grease has accumulated, it will stay on the surface. Washing of these garments is made easier and faster. It alleviates stress of buying high end detergents or pretreatments. The dirt is simply cleaned right off the surface and leaves C6 Technology? on the garment ready to again resist water and stains. This also cuts down on the time in the dryer, which helps save your energy bill.

Skankeywear? and NW Allen? are two lines of clothing that use C6 Technology?. Making the comforts of a wrinkle and stain resistant lifestyle more attainable to the average consumer. Purchasing clothing with C6 Technology? treatments helps save you money on your water and energy bill with washings and drying. C6 Technology? is here to save your wallet as well as your time. For business and dress clothing for men, look into NW Allen? at nwallen.com. For your everyday clothing needs, look into our ever changing and expanding options for men and women with Skankeywear? found at skankeywear.com.

The line stands out for its bright silver and gold, fluid designs, and bold centerpieces.

They work with an organization which helps to create employment pathways for these disadvantaged artisans, and ensures that the entire supply chain is free of exploitation. Fair Trade certification is an important deciding factor in merchandising at Urban Bazaar. Choosing products from Fair Trade certified companies and organizations is an easy way to be assured that each item meets strict standards of fair pay, safe working conditions, lack of child labor, and other important factors impacting disadvantaged artisans in third world countries.

Mata Traders is a perfect example of how Fair Trade relationships are helping many of these disadvantaged artisans in India and Nepal. Their textile items like clothing and purses (Urban Bazaar carries their purses, too, although not their clothing) are made by women's cooperatives in India and Nepal, where the women are given gainful employment and benefits like medical and child care. It is generally accepted knowledge that physically attractive people get more out of life and are more successful romantically and financially, according to Daniel S. Hamermesh, Beauty Pays: Why Attractive People Are More Successful. Amazon.

The new LatinEuro dating survey of who get responses and who does not makes this assumption an understatement.

Women who are on the LatinEuro.com "Hottest List" get 90% of the attention from men.

The "Hottest List" of women is only 5% of the total female membership on the site.

In other words, 5% of the women get 90% of the action from men.

This is based on years of research and our new study. LatinEu women's jackets ro.com has been in business for 23 years.

This study is contrary to a ubiquitous marketing hype about person's internal qualities that we see all over the net and on yahoo.com, Google and TV ads, in the opinion of Scientific Dating Methods by H. Y. G?ksu.

As a primary consideration, men on LatinEuro.com do not care about the woman's personality and character. Men do not discriminate where the women is from, her age, profession, personality or other data that some dating sites tout as being as being important factors in matching people up for a date.

"It is all visual when it comes to men. We never get a comment from a man about woman other than a reference to her physical appeal. Popular examples of comments are "She is Beautiful, "Wow, what a body." "I love her looks," "I am a big boob man." "I am a butt man."    We have never heard the comment. "I am a "personality man". Not once! We wish it were different but it is not." says Vania Santos, Director at http://www.LatinEuro.com.

Male member on LatinEuro.com are from all around the world. These men are from different cultures, speak different languages, are of different ages, religions, races and physical types and do not know one another. Incredibly, they all choose the same type of women as their primary choice. They have 1000's of attractive women to choose from but this diverse group of men are unified by their common interest in woman. The men all vote the same. Sexy, hot girls with curves bodies and beautiful faces, knock out all other women on LatinEuro.com

"Again, it is all visual. There are so many choices of women and yet the men weed out the ugly ones and focus only on the super beautiful women with a lot of sexy appeal and little clothing that shows their body," says Vania Santos

"One thing that women can do to get more men to respond is to take better photographs. On dating sites people are pictures and not people. It is your photographic representation that you are putting out to the world. Put on make up and do your hair. Improve your odds greatly by, not using a wide angle lens cell phone camera. Most dating profiles polluted with cell phone camera photos. They distort people's faces and make them look weird, transforming faces into turnip or watermelon heads. Also, submit body shots showing your best assets. Our data says, this will improve your response rate from prospective men," says Vania Santos.

Again, here is the link of the hottest list to see who's getting all the attention from men. http://www.latineuro.com/hottest_women.php

LatinEuro.com has pioneered international dating for the last 23 years and is one of the world's most famous and oldest dating sites. It has people from all over the world and the USA but specializes in Latin culture. David's Bridal "What's On Brides' Minds" Survey Sets The Bridal Planning Stage for 2012

Not sure what brides are really thinking? This year's sixth-annual "What's on Brides' Minds" survey from David's Bridal reveals what's really in store for 2012 as brides everywhere gear up for the biggest day of their lives. From uncovering what brides are planning, choosing and even now sharing this year's results may surprise you.

While brides still know best and are sticking to their budgets, the 2012 survey uncovers new trends that are beginning to take shape, such as sharing resources—with more than a third of brides open to hopping on-board. It also shows that when it comes to planning, brides will trust their significant other over their closest friends and family -- including their mothers. Plus, brides feel finding the one (the dress that is) may be harder than it looks, with 47% of brides saying their wedding dress is nothing like what they pictured when they were young.

"The New Year is always packed with bridal activity due to engagements happening over the holidays," said Brian Beitler, Chief Marketing Officer for David's Bridal. "This year's survey highlights what brides everywhere are thinking as they prepare to say, "I do" in 2012. As the nation's leading bridal retailer, David's Bridal continues to provide brides-to-be with the best in choice, value and convenience when making their wedding women's jackets day dreams come true."

Brides Do It Better
While planning a wedding, brides think they know best from the date to the venue, but are now open to sharing resources.

  •     The Secret of Sharing: Despite the benefits of sharing secrets, just over a third (37%) of brides have considered sharing resources, and only 10% have actually shared resources.
  •     A New Trend of Sharing: Of the brides catching onto the trend of sharing, the top items they share with other brides are:
  •     Decorations (63%)
  •     Clothing and accessories (50%)
  •     Coveted planning tools (38%)
  •     Who Brides are Trusting: The person most brides would trust in helping plan their weddings is the man they're planning to walk down the aisle to: their significant other (56%), followed by their mother (52%) and their best friend (50%).
  •     It's all in the Date: 43% of brides would consider planning their wedding on a special date such as 10-11-12 or 12-12-12.

Finding "The One" is Harder than it Looks (The Dress, Not the Groom)
The dress is the perfect expression of a bride's personal style and finding the right one (or two) is harder than it looks.

  •     Childhood Dreams Aren't Forever: Women's style changes over time and tastes change. For nearly half of brides (47%), their wedding dress is nothing like what they pictured when they were young.
  •     Do Moms Know Best? More than half of brides (56%) say that if their mother thought their wedding dress was inappropriate, they would stick to their guns and not choose a different style.
  •     The Two-Dress Trend: For the last two years, more than a third of brides (38% in 2011, 36% in 2010) have considered buying a second dress to wear for the wedding reception.

The Tale of the Veil
The tradition of wearing a veil has been around for quite some time and this year brides-to-be have not forgotten it.

  •     Tried & True Traditions: More than 3 in every 4 (83%) engaged women plan to wear a veil in their wedding.
  •     Holding onto Memories: More than half of engaged women (63%) planning to sport a veil will save their wispy white headpiece as a keepsake after the wedding.

Wedding Cost Concerns Shift
Brides are still cutting back due to economic concerns, but are also being selective on the areas where they are pinching pennies.

  •     Brides are Still Cutting Back: Over half of the brides (53%) cut their budgets in 2011, which is similar to the (54%) of brides that also cut back in 2010.
  •     Spending Cuts Shift: While brides continue to cut back, they are less likely to cut spending on reception essentials including:
        ?     Venue (22% in 2011, 57% in 2010)
        ?    Décor (47% in 2011, 59% in 2010)
        ?    Alcohol (27% in 2011, 44% in 2010)

Smart & Savvy Shopping
From bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses to invitations and accessories, David's Bridal is the ultimate resource for brides to help plan for their dream day. Showcasing a wide selection of gowns ranging from $299-$1,350, including designer gowns from the White by Vera Wang, Oleg Cassini, Galina Signature and Galina collections, and a variety of accessories from headpieces to undergarments, David's Bridal has something for every bride's style and personality. With over 300 stores nationwide and a huge assortment available online, brides and their wedding party can find everything they need all at one place that won't break the bank.

Methodology
The David's Bridal Survey was conducted by Wakefield Research (http://www.wakefieldresearch.com) between November 17th and November 23rd, 2011. For this research, 500 interviews were fielded using an email invitation and an online survey among women ages 18 and older, who are engaged to be married or were married within the last two months.

Results of any sample are subject to sampling variation. The magnitude of the variation is measurable and is affected by the number of interviews and the level of the percentages expressing the results. For the interviews conducted in this particular study, the chances are 95 in 100 that a survey result does not vary, plus or minus, by more than 4.4 percentage points from the result that would be obtained if interviews had been conducted with all persons in the universe represented by the sample.

Fashion Designer Karen Millen Hosts Book Signing of "STILETTO 911"

Karen Millen knows what it's like to restyle your life. The London-based fashion designer started her business with a loan of one hundred pounds in 1981. Since that time, she has built a global brand synonymous with effortless chic. Now the company is recognizing the achievement of a local author, Vivian Valtas Schmidt, by hosting a book signing of "Stiletto 911: The Makeover Manifesto of a Career Woman", at the store's downtown Chicago location.

Baby Riddle Offers Pregnant Women Three Uncommon Methods to Battle Morning Sickness

BabyRiddle.com has a special empathy for pregnant women and morning sickness. The company provides three extra methods that can take an edge off the dreaded morning sickness. Many women are finding that the conventional cures are not helping and they need more alternatives to make the season of nausea and vomiting more bearable.

A few alternative options to try to calm the expectant mother's queasy tummy:

  •     Acupressure or Acupuncture.
Believe it or not, there are several points on your body which, when pushed just so or when an acupuncture needle is placed into them, have the ability to calm queasiness. There are also acupressure bands, also known to help cu women's jackets online re motion sickness, that can be bought at most drug stores which have almost the same effect if you aren't keen on the idea of going to a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.

  •     Get a Lemon Fix.
Whether it be smelling lemons, sucking on a lemon candy, eating a lemon popsicle or putting a slice of lemon in your mouth and sucking on it for a bit, lemon is a great, all natural stomach settler.

  •     Eat More Salt.
Pregnant women produce a whole lot more saliva than those that aren't, and eating salty foods will help to absorb some of this excess moisture that is setting off your gag reflex. Have some saltine crackers always at the ready or any other salty snack that you might be craving. Remember though, salt should be eaten in moderation, as it will increase your sodium levels and has the possibility of increasing your blood pressure.

Baby Riddle has a couple more solutions to combat morning sickness posted on the company's website https://babyriddle.com/blogs/blog_posts/view/2

If you've tried the other morning sickness cures and have had lackluster results, or are tired of drinking ginger ale and carbonated water, then you might want to give one of these uncommon methods to combat morning sickness during pregnancy a shot.

Eva Alexander’s Tips on Finding the Best Maternity Dress for Every Figure

Maternity wear today is attractive, sexy, comfortable and stylish. It's designed to compliment a woman's changing body and make her look and feel great throughout the nine months of pregnancy. One must have essential during this time is a good maternity dress. Finding a stylish maternity dress is not only about fashion, it also requires an understanding of a woman's figure, the styles and designs that complement her body type, and a good knowledge of fabrics that are soft, comfortable, and durable. Regardless of whether a woman is short, tall, extra curvy or slightly built, there are a variety of maternity dresses to choose from that will look great on each and every shape.

Understanding body shape is the first and most essential rule for dressing fashionably. As Coco Chanel once said, "Fashion is architecture: it is a matter of proportions."

Short Women – Short women look best in streamlined tailored clothing. Consider dresses that are all one colour paired with heels, a look that will add inches to a small frame. Dresses with an empire waist are a great look too because it creates the illusion of longer legs. If prints are in season, look for smaller prints, delicate details, and subtle embellishments. Avoid large prints, floaty fabrics and tent dresses that will overwhelm a small frame. Colour blocking typically doesn't work well because it visually "chops you up" and makes a woman look shorter than she is. Any colour blocking that is done should be about accenting a base colour rather than breaking up a silhouette into large blocks of colour.

Full Figured Women – For women who are size 18 and over, there are now even more maternity wear choices than ever before. An important point to remember is that clothes should outline a woman's body, accentuate cleavage and complement the waist. Choose maternity dresses that have a lot of movement and divert attention from the thighs, hips and tummy. Wrap dresses are ideal because they skim the waist, enhance cleavage and hide a multitude of sins. Look for darker colours that will also create a sliming silhouette.

Pear Shaped Women – The classic pear shaped woman has rounded hips and thighs that are slightly wider than her shoulders. The best looks on a pear shaped woman are styles that have a shapely waist, balance the upper body and draw the eye to the shoulders and arms. Look for empire waist dresses because they focus the eyes to the narrowest part of the body. Dresses with fitted tops and A-line skirts are also a great style. Avoid mini-skirts or baggy clothes, both will draw attention to hips and thighs.

Apple Shaped Women - The classic apple shaped woman has a large bust, narrow hips and slim legs. Body conscious dressing for apple shaped woman is about accentuating the cleavage and legs. Look for open or scoop necks that expand the chest area and make a woman look more in proportion. Solid colour, crossover, and wrap dresses are also ideal. Avoid horizontal stripes, large prints, dresses that are too baggy and ruching at the shoulders.

How to Make Good Choices When Buying a Maternity Dress

Choose maternity clothes that accentuate a woman's best assets. Focus on fabrics that are fluid and drape well. A bump-flattering wrap dress may look great on the hanger, but if the fabric is clingy, itchy or is prone to static and sticks to your undergarments, it will end-up in the back of the closet never to be worn again.

Pick brands wisely. A cheap dress is great for a week on the beach, but after a few washes the fabric pills, the colour fades, and the fit and shape of the dress have deteriorated. In difficult economic times value for money is important and fashion is more about fewer quality pieces that will continue to flatter a woman's shape and look great regardless of how many times it's washed and worn. When buying women's jackets designer maternity wear, make sure it is quality and good value for money.

Don't confuse Fad with Fashion. Current fads often don't translate well into maternity wear. Choose colours that complement your skin tone and hair colouring. Dress to complement your shape by picking styles that are simple but classic and cut to accentuate your assets.

Maternity clothes must be adjustable. Women who are going through pregnancy the first time around are often surprised. Only in the second trimester, have a few pieces have been purchased. The third trimester is when a woman really begins to grow and if the first few maternity wear choices weren't well made, she'll be out shopping once again. Look for maternity wrap dresses which are always very flexible or maternity dresses with ruching, layering, or pleating in the front. These types of styles should see any woman through her pregnancy and beyond.

Following these guidelines will make every woman look fantastic during her pregnancy!

Third Motocross Rider Teams Up With Everyday Noble Clothing

As the sport of Motocross continues to reach new peaks of popularity, Everyday Noble Clothing is wasting no time growing its racing team to compete, adding a third rider this month in Foristell, Missouri native Kyle Hussey.

A pro from the age of 16, Hussey has been honing his skills since he was four years old. And now, some 15 years later, he's excited to be joining a local team on the rise. "It's pretty cool to be a part of a group that's like family," says Hussey. "I'm excited to grow with Everyday Noble Clothing as my career progresses, and now I can even up my class a bit with one of their v-necks."

For Everyday Noble Clothing, Founder Josh Reed knew the caliber of rider his team was getting in Hussey. In recent years, Hussey has raced in the AMA Super Cross, Arena Cross, Outdoor Nationals and the Missouri State MX Series. But more than his obvious racing acumen, Reed was thrilled that yet another local rider decided to keep his talents in-state and represent Kansas City-based Everyday Noble Clothing in events throughout the country. "If you follow Motocross at all in this region, you've heard of Kyle Hussey," says Reed. "His skills on the track speak for themselves.

"But it's his passion for the sport and his desire to ride for a local team that made this a perfect fit for us."

Behind the Everyday Noble Clothing Motocross Team is a streetwear brand that includes hoodies, snapbacks, tees and more. A quick glance at their website provides a glimpse into Reed's vision, and perhaps an entire generation's vision, for how we are to live each day. It's for these enterprising individuals, for those like Hussey that never stop pursuing what they love, that Reed has crafted his line.

"The Everyday Noble Clothing brand is about having the courage to start something fresh and new, something that changes the game entirely," says Reed. "But you can't go very far or achieve very much without staying true to your roots.

"Kyle is the perfect example of that. Here's this rider that has the whole Motocross world at his feet, and yet he chose to start the journey right here in Kansas City."

For Reed, Hussey and the rest of the Everyday Noble Clothing Motocross Team, there truly is no place like home.

Japanese Influence on American Quilting Strengthening

The American Quilter's Society presents a new exhibition, "Japanese Color and Form: New Works by Fifty Japanese Artists" at its fifth annual AQS Quilt Show & Contest in Des Moines, Iowa, October 3rd – 6th, 2012. Curated by Kokusai Art of Yokohama, Japan, this exhibit's works shine a light on the influence of Japanese artistry into modern quilting techniques.

While many of the fifty works in this exhibition are demonstrative of Japanese artistry, two uniquely Japanese elements feature strongly in the works.

Instantly recognizable as originating in Japan, the kimono has influenced fiber artists in ways well beyond traditional clothing. Miyako Suwa of Osaka, Japan, created h women's coats online er quilt, ONE LAST PRESENT using fabric from her mother's kimonos. Miyako's quilt features intricate hand embroidery and featherstitching, all as a tribute to her mother who passed away recently. Commenting on this piece, a viewer in Michigan noted, "It's such a beautiful tribute to her late mother."

This exhibit includes several pieces with fine examples of sashiko. This stitching style originated in Japan and permeates many Asian-inspired designs. Usually sashiko stitches appear in light or white thread against a darker background fabric. The unique stitch patterns create a stark contrast with traditional American running stitches.

Rei Saito of Tokyo, Japan, created JAPANESE SASHIKO MOTIFS, which serves as a study in many of the traditional sashiko patterns. Rei Saito reported, "Sashiko began more than 200 years ago. Women did sashiko for each season."

Whether through traditional Japanese techniques and materials or innovative new designs, the quilts coming from Japan are influencing American quilting.
